WELCOME TO LONE STAR LODGE 2208 I would like to personally welcome you to our new website. We hope you enjoy browsing through the information on these pages. The purpose of this website is to give you more information on your Local Lodge and to help you find labor and union issues on the internet.
Local lodges in the I. A. M. Transportation Department do not interpret language in your contracts or get involved with contract negotiations, our District Lodges handle those functions. Your Local Lodge functions are assisting our members with dues payments, training, monthly meetings, and sending our members to conventions and conferences associated with the I. A. M. or other Labor Organizations.
I am very honored and proud to be your President and will continue to work hard for you, the members. But remember, Unions are only as strong as their membership, so please get involved. Our meeting are on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30 pm. If you have any concerns or questions about our Local Lodge, please contact me here at the Lodge.
